Promote CST Research & Best Practices

• Identify and prioritize research gaps specific to the committee’s mission and strategies
• Create summary list of needed research issues and disseminate out to members.

Solicit and review research papers on CST relations

• Solicit a call for papers
• Identify Research Priorities that involve multiple agency actions

Sponsor TRB Sessions on CST

• Identify session topics during the TRB Annual meeting and refine session topic mid-year

Sponsor & Participate in workshops, training, and other special events

• Seek out other TRB committees or sessions that influence CST
• Solicit committee suggestions for workshop topics
• Identify and prioritize research subjects and promote implementation
• Hold workshops to promote the development of Best Practices for improving CST
• Seek out other TRB committees or sessions that influence CST

Serve as clearing house and resource on CST relations

• Assign a communication coordinator
• Maintain a stakeholder/contact list and schedule with other TRB standing committees
• Seek Co-Sponsoring opportunities and exchange with other TRB committee’s
• Create liaison with other committees with the aviation group and other modes to foster joint research and development
